I'm a twenty-two year old university student, majoring in Music Education (though the school officially says that I'm a music major with a minor in Education K-12). I write fanfiction in my spare time (usually for the Harry Potter fandom, though I occasionally branch out into Degrassi), which is not very often at all. In fact, I average an update something like 1 every six months. Part of this is because I have to check the Lexicon or reread certain parts of the books to get details right. Lately, though, I've given up on book continuity as Deathly Hallows has rendered 95% of my stuff AU. I'm also working on a novel and a novella. And, no, I do NOT go to the local coffee shop with my laptop to write. (Though the protagonist of the novel does and mourns the sad state of her life.) Neither will probably get published as my grammar leaves something to be desired. And hell, I just want to mark it off of the list of things I'm able to do.

What else? I read a lot. I love Tolkien and Terry Pratchett...and Neil Gaiman, too. I also read romance novels that have twists. I love JJ Murray's stuff and am getting into Bridget Midway's, as well. I'm also a fan of the Jessica Darling books. I've recently finished Stephenie Meyer's Twilight and am looking forward to continuing the saga.
